Crashing the boards :)

On a Friday eve, when its time to party, mum n dad are sitting around and playing a board game. It takes only 30 mins or so before my ADD kicks in and I need attention...hello!

Its actually fun to see their reaction after i break up a game of Backgammon or Scrabble. Oops...

Art

If you can't create it, atleast sit on it and leave a signature behind (or a 'behind' signature) ...Sorry, couldn't resist the temptation.

Winning...

I got a feeling, tonight's going to be a good good night...8 PM.

Quoting CNN

"A historic $640 million jackpot is up for grabs Friday as the Mega Millions lottery is living up to its name.

The multistate jackpot has grown to become the largest ever offered that could be won by an individual(cat or dog). It has captivated the nation, has caused long lines at convenience stores and has many dreaming of creative ways to quit their jobs if they get the lucky numbers."

I'm gonna be one rich kitty and will buy me a country full of mice and little birds and little ponds of fish. Stay tuned folks!

Sunday Update - Let's just say  "things didn't go as planned, i'm still here" :(

Palanquin Bearers

Here's a real palanquin

and here's mine

A broken laundry basket! Serves the purpose though, mum n dad take me on a luxurious ride around the house.

A beautiful poem to go with the post

Palanquin Bearers

Lightly, O lightly we bear her along,
She sways like a flower in the wind of our song;
She skims like a bird on the foam of a stream,
She floats like a laugh from the lips of a dream.
Gaily, O gaily we glide and we sing,
We bear her along like a pearl on a string.

Softly, O softly we bear her along,
She hangs like a star in the dew of our song;
She springs like a beam on the brow of the tide,
She falls like a tear from the eyes of a bride.
Lightly, O lightly we glide and we sing,
We bear her along like a pearl on a string.
