Evening Walk of Shame
My folks insist that the only way I get to go for a walk in the evening is on a leash. They are afraid 'imaginary' coyotes are going to get me. I really don't like it a whole lot, but once i get out.. i don't mind it.
Seeing all the spoiled canines going for a walk and birds making a cacophony before dozing off in the trees is a nice way to kick off the evening. People laugh at us all the time and tell mom that
she really needs to get a dog...Really folks?? That sounds so stupid to me!
And oh, the other frequent question is, 'Where does he go?' Duh.. a toilet, well ok, not really a toilet but a litter box in the toilet. We felines know to keep things clean, sorta.

Lessons in killing time
Over the years, I have practiced and acquired some essentials skills for passing the time without getting all stressed out.
Here are some:
Watching water drip from a faucet
Keeping tab on the local bird population
Catching water drip from a faucet
Watching the moon drift across the night sky
Getting wet in the shower, dry off and repeat the cycle till you drop totally exhausted
Watching animal planet
Browsing the web with dad :)

Halloween..It's Pumpkin time
This past Halloween, mom and I carved a Kitty pumpkin. She did the carving and I did the scratching and ate some of the delicious pulp. It turned out OK, check it out..
Mom and dad also carved an Angry Birds one as part of a Block-carving party. It was noisy, but everyone seemed to have a good time. Here's a pic of the Block pumpkins

Its a bird...Its a bird!
I'm tired of hearing that my hunting skills are average at best and all I can catch is a lizard or the occasional butterfly. I'm mindful of the need to conserve our bird population and CHOOSE not to kill birds. Anyway, i was getting sick of the negative rap and had to put it to rest, sorry birdie. It won't happen again.

Lizzy from couple of days back
No animals were harmed in the making of this video, he was just playing dead. Ran away when mom distracted me.
A lazy day around the house
Good kitty.. bad kitty
I can't help play with a hapless lizard, as much as my parents hate it.. i love giving the lizards a hard time
. The little ones are too good to pass up, i gobble them up and let go of the older ones .. minus their tails. I swear, i never fell for that one - "here's my wiggly tail, while i get away". Somehow my parents never seemed to develop an appetite for lizards. They chide me and lock me up, next thing i know the lizard has made a safe getaway, thanks to them.
Pretty cool, how this one turned from a Green.. |
to a Black, the wonders of nature! |
